This is all you need...
1. StormTrak™ is a vb.net front end, and uses a SQL platform
2. We LICENSE a copy of StormTrak™ for your use on our dedicated hosted servers. You would be provided with a domain name for unlimited and secured access by your staff (such as: mycity.stormtrakonline.com )
3. We provide you with a secured FTP site - allowing you to retrieve your SQL data each day for backup
4. Reports are produced in .PDF format or as a Crystal Report
5. A high speed internet connection is recommended. Dial up lines may be just too slow
6. Our dedicated servers are available 24/7 for your unlimited use. All servers are located IN the USA
7. We frequently add features of VALUE to our product. You are not charged for these benefits!
8. Be sure to read our End User Licensing Agreement.
9. My staff is easily reachable. This is a US company located in Silver Spring, MD, with only US employees. Call us during our business hours - we love to discuss your needs
and these are options that other clients have found of value...
OPTION #1. If you need to create a "bridge" between your StormTrak™ data and some other application, we provide you with windows service and web services as appropriate - so that you can "link" to other databases. We have created interfaces with many fleet management systems, payroll, call center, GIS and AVL applications. Note, that this is a custom service, and we will provide you a quote for any fees involved for your approval before getting started. Talk to us if you need to explore this option.
OPTION #2: For municipalities who prefer the software to run on their LAN, we can provide you with a LICENSED copy of StormTrak™ for your installation on YOUR intranet. Call us for details on this option
OPTION #3: If you need a feature that doesn't already exist in StormTrak™ (I'd be surprised, but it does happen!), let us know. If we feel that the feature could benefit all of our clients - we will gladly add it at no charge to you. If we don't think it would provide value to our clients - then we can still customize for you.
