Before you can BUILD accountability, you need to DEFINE it. I tend to think of accountability as the BENEFIT, of a well planned and organized snow removal program. Let me 'splain. If you were to decide to run a marathon (26.2 miles), you would need to train extensively for approximately 6 months. If you trained well, then the day of running the marathon is CAKE. You have put in the time, you trained hard - and the end result is crossing that finish line.

The same rule applies to the Accountability portion of the "Work + Effort = Results" formula. The results
help you to be accountable. They transform your snow and ice removal efforts into a budget conscious program.

By demonstrating your accountability - you have added SIGNIFICANT VALUE to your tool belt - and to your snow and ice removal program.

Take a look below at the components that are necessary for you to provide VALUE. Can you answer these questions while in a state of chaos clearing the snow from the roads? Can you show the "numbers" the moment the snow event has ended? Can you get reimbursed from FEMA without having to spend mega-hours compiling lists? Are your numbers as accurate as they should be to justify a Snow budget? Is your information trustworthy years later?
